Digital Classroom Building

Competition entry for a new classroom building on the campus of Washington State University in Pullman Washington. Client is Bora Architects of Portland.
These renderings were submitted as part of a competition entry for a proposed new Digital Classroom Building on the WSU campus in Pullman. The ground-floor space plan revolves around a central auditorium drum and all three viewpoints maintain visibility of this important element. Yellow is used to set it off against the reds and oranges of the brick and terra cotta screen. Reds are used in much of the entourage as well, incorporating the school colors whenever possible. Blues and greens are punched up as well, creating a strong vibrant image that will read well at different distances.
