601 West Hastings Street

Recent set of renderings of a proposed office tower in downtown Vancouver BC. Client is B+H Architects of Vancouver.
This series of renderings was done for an early concept design of a 30-story speculative office tower. A signature feature of the design was the large gold canopy above the building entrance. In this low-aerial view, the tower and the rest of the surrounding context are toned down to draw the eye to this feature. In Vancouver, taxis are usually hybrid Prius cars and their yellow color was adjusted to match the canopy as well.
Southeast corner view of entry plaza and canopy, also highlighting the exterior waterfall and interior living wall.
