Arizona Cancer Center
Renderings of a new University of Arizona Cancer Clinic located at the Phoenix Biomedical Campus in Downtown Phoenix. Client is ZGF Architects, Los Angeles.
For this rendering of the building entrance, a viewpoint was selected that highlighted the entry sequence. Public access and the auto drop-off are prominent. Entourage is kept to a minimum to emphasize the sedate nature of the project. Warm reds and oranges are used on the exterior of the building to shield the interiors from the strong Arizona sun. Cool greens and blues communicate the idea of “oasis” inside.
